Outreach and Community Engagement Pastor

I was born in Malaysia but migrated to Adelaide as a child with my family. After completing my engineering degree, I left Adelaide and worked in Singapore with a German engineering multinational cooperation for  many years. I then felt a strong call to return to Adelaide and start God's call for my life in ministry.

In high school I started attending a church youth group. However, it was only when I realized God's love and his desire for me to have relationship with him, that I finally took the leap of faith and asked him to come into my life. After I had finished my studies and moved to Singapore to work, I joined an Assemblies of God church which was a formative period in my faith journey. When I returned to Adelaide, I rejoined AACC because I thought it was good family church and knew I would continue to grow my faith there.

At AACC, I began as the Youth coordinator at AACC, leading and encouraging the youth to engage with the community outside of the church. I have a strong passion for seeing Christians living out their faith in shared and practical ways. My heart began to move specifically for cross cultural local missions to the refugees and asylum seekers in Adelaide. Now I serve as the Outreach and Community Engagement (OnCE) Pastor. My role gives me the opportunity to assist other ministries at church with the community around us.

When I am not out sharing a good kebab with my Persian friends, I enjoy reading, photography and Netflix.
