After 28 years of Christian service overseas the Lord has led me to lead AACC at this time, here in Adelaide. Along with my family of two children, who are now young adults, and my husband David, I am passionate that Christ should be preached. The best preaching of Christ occurs when Christians live authentic lives in front of a world that is watching. After all, we are called to be the ‘salt of the earth’ and the ‘light of the world’, aren’t we?
My ambition is simple – follow Jesus Christ. This has led me from engineering to youth ministry, a transition that has been difficult and rocky, but one where God was and still is present and faithful. I want to introduce young people to Jesus who challenged me and changed my life. I want to help them discover who he is, his life, his values, his faith. I also believe that the church must be present in local community, helping, serving and loving. Young people can play a significant role in this.
Children’s Church Coordinator
With a Diploma in Education and a Masters Degree in Music, I have always wanted to work with children. I teach piano at a girls’ high school and also have a private studio. I love working with kids and have a passion for them. I believe that children are a gift from God and are precious to Him. The whole purpose of Children’s Church is to instil God’s Word into children’s hearts, ultimately leading them to Jesus Christ and to disciple them in their Christian growth. I have two fantastic children and a loving husband, Adrian.
