Who we are
The Austral-Asian Community Church (AACC) is a contemporary, multigenerational, family oriented church. As a Christian community we value growing together in our knowledge and love for God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
We began as the English speaking congregation of the Austral-Asian Christian Church, Adelaide which has been in existence for over 35 years and have been uniquely flavoured by the Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, Presbyterian and Pentecostal traditions. We are part of the Protestant church movement and hold to the Apostles’ Creed as our doctrinal statement of faith.
The church was founded in 1976 by a group of migrants from Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, along with some overseas students. Over the years, AACC has touched a number of different communities including the Vietnamese and Cambodian refugee populations. This has led to the birth of a number of churches.
In 2011, after years of meeting in the city, we moved to Tusmore where we are an active member of the Burnside Inter-Church Council. Together with other churches in the area, we aim to serve the city of Adelaide and overseas.
When we meet
9:00am & 10:30am Sundays
We hold two Sunday services. One service is at 9am and the other, in a more contemporary style, is at 10:30am. There is a crèche for parents with babies and toddlers where the service is transmitted live. We invite you to join us and look forward to catching up with you over a cuppa or a meal at our very own Café Manna after the service.
